Diwali'12 Giveaway

You know what's back?

GIVEAWAYS!!!! Its been really long, hasn't it??

The last few months we have seen a lot of ups and downs, people quitting, rules being set up, new reviewers joining us (a huge wave to all of them), new authors sending us copies, interacting, new meme's, a little bit of arguments, ALOP has seen a lot.

We're growing. Yep. And we'll continue growing.

So here's a little GIVEAWAY for all the inconveniences you had to put up with us.

Most of the new members here do not know how to take part in the giveaway. So people, listen up.

1. In the widget below, perform the following tasks first and click on the accompanying button.

2. Answer any questions asked (if any).

3. THIS IS THE MAIN RULE. READ A CHILDREN'S BOOK [as part of our Children's Day Challenge] and send us a review of it. MEMBERS CAN REVIEW IT ON ALOP, NON-MEMBERS CAN REVIEW IT ON THEIR BLOGS, FB, ANYWHERE AND SEND US A LINK or if you do not have a blog, you can send us your review directly to alotofpages@gmail.com. The review should be between 250-300 words. There is no limit to how many you can send.

Please tag the book reviews with "kids stuff" so its easy to search for us.

WE WILL KEEP UPDATING OUR SITE WITH YOUR NAME AND REVIEW.

[Children's book DO NOT include Harry Potter, Twilight, Eragon. However it includes PERCY JACKSON, NARNIA, ARTEMIS FOWL, FAIRY TALES, HARDY BOYS, NANCY DREW, books by ENID BLYTON, THE THREE INVESTIGATORS, ANIMORPHS, GOOSEBUMPS, etc etc. You get the drift right?]

P.S| its easy to fool the widget into believing the task is done, but believe me, its not so easy to fool the admins. We're monitoring every entry. The winners are calculated randomly if he/she completes the task.

There will be 2 winners and they can choose 1 book from the lot.

Without further ado, here are the books that's up for grabs.

CLOUD ATLAS - David Mitchell
LIGHT OF THE MOON - Luanne Rice
THE THIRTEENTH TALE - Diane Setterfield
THE TIME KEEPER - Mitch Albom
A WRINKLE IN TIME - Madeline L'engle
DOCTORS - Erich Segal
LIFE OF PI - Yann Martel
THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY - Mary Ann Shaffer, Anny Barrows

a Rafflecopter giveaway

ALSO A NOTE TO OUR MEMBERS :

I believe you've received an admin email. We're celebrating Children's Day with a lot of reading. Lets bring back that magic of childhood and solve mysteries with the Hardy's. Lets put an end to crime with Miss Drew or better, go adventuring with The Famous Five.

The challenge starts now and ends on the midnight of November 14th.

If you do not have a book to read, send us a mail. We will send you an e-book.

ALOP has had so may wonderful reviews this past one year that we've almost forgotten about the children and the parents who wants to buy books for their child. Let us give them a reason to visit us as well.

The question is, how many can you read within this time frame?

ALL THE BEST EVERYONE, READ and SHARE THIS!!!
